Here's the pictures from our most recent launch of Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University (FPU). Mark Beeson had lots of fun celebrating with them that evening!
Of 240 households that registered, 165 of them went the distance for a strong finish. FPU asks people to come for 13 weeks and deal with the topic self-control and personal discipline in their spending. That's not an appealing topic for most! Amazing that nearly 70% of the households said, "Yes!"
I have had some great feedback too about the relationships that formed. "My table isn't planning to stay together as a group - but it's not about that. I now know these people. We've been together for 13 weeks! Every time I take one of these steps at GCC, I meet new people and this place keeps feeling smaller and smaller to me. I love it!"
The volunteer team and their leaders are hitting a new level and shaping it with excellence. They are taking steps to improve the experience for next session and beyond, and I'm excited to see them continue caring for people well! Way to go team!
